Description
The same herbs and essential oils as are in Deep Tissue Oil. First the herbs are infused in olive oil, then melted beeswax is added to the infused oils and last of all the menthol crystals and essential oils are added. Deep Tissue Salve can be used for the same purposes as Deep Tissue Oil, but with less mess. Salve tends to be easier to apply and use, as it doesn’t run off the skin or spill if the bottle is tipped.
INGREDIENTS: Fresh St. John’s Wort Flower, Calendula flower, Arnica flower, Ginger root and Cayenne infused in Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Menthol crystals, organic Wintergreen Essential Oil and Peppermint Essential Oil. Salve contents are the same as the oil with the addition of Beeswax.
Deep Tissue Salve Action: “First Aid in a bottle” (Weaver, Be Your Own Doctor 149). Increases circulation, breaks up congestion, and speeds healing. Aids aches, pains, and sprains.
Deep Tissue Salve Uses: Congestion, swollen lymph nodes, coughs, sore throat, headaches, and leg and muscle cramps. A popular warming massage oil for the relief of minor muscle discomfort. Dilute Deep Tissue Oil in a carrier oil such as olive oil. Apply as needed.
Cautions: Avoid using near the eyes. Not for internal use. Not for broken skin or sensitive areas. Keep out of reach of children. People with severe ragweed allergies may also be sensitive to Calendula.
