Our Tea Tree Herbal Salve uses the valued essential oil of Tea Tree, along with the leaves and roots of the common Burdock, a treasure trove of herbal goodness. Then we combine these with Mullein and Lobelia to bring you this dark green, all-purpose salve.
Contains: Fresh Burdock leaf and root, Mullein leaf, Lobelia herb, and Rosemary leaf infused in Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Beeswax, Tea Tree (Melaleuca alterniflolia) Oil, and Vitamin E Oil.
Action: Tea tree oil possesses antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and anti- fungal properties. Burdock, known for its wound restorative qualities and Mullein’s therapeutic and soothing features along with the multi-functions of Tea tree oil bring you a deep cleansing, repairing and calming salve. “During World War
II, Australian cutters and producers of tea tree oil were exempt from military service until enough of this precious essential oil was accumulated for use in first-aid kits:’ (Pierson and Shipley 115).
Uses: An all purpose salve which relieves acne, asthma, athlete’s foot, blemishes from chicken pox and shingles, blisters, bronchitis, burns, cold sores, colds and flu, coughs, cracked and rough skin, dandruff, insect bites, sunburn, and warts. Apply as needed.
Cautions: Avoid using near the eyes. Not for internal use. Keep out of reach of children.
